A Banana Tree That Grows Outside in Utah???

Want a banana plant that even I can plant up in Salt Lake City, utah? The Musa Basjoo is a cold-hardy banana tree that grows all the way up to Zone 5 (meaning it can survive lows as far as -15 degrees celsius!). The tree, if in warm conditions long enough, does provide fruit, but the fruit is supposedly inedible. This plant make a nice ornamental piece next to pools, ponds, and other areas you want to add a tropical touch in areas where "tropical" just isn't expected.

This plant will go well next to my pond and cold-hardy Hibiscus bush. Watch below to see what it looks like, and how to plant it. You can order these on Amazon at this link!
